Celebrated for its striking fashion, bold storytelling, and deep sense of community, STYLEAID PHOENIX will rise from the ashes on Friday 15 August 2025 at Crown Ballroom, as Perth’s number one fashion fund raising event all over again.

All the things that made STYLEAID the memorable night it was for 20 years – fashion, food, wine, entertainment, dancing, the exclusive STYLEAID magazine and our amazing gift bags. You will be mesmerised by performances from West Australian Ballet, Connections, Ali Bodycoat, DJ Hello Sailor and much more.

Enjoy a night of fabulous fashion, fine dining and amazing entertainment with spring/summer collections from some of the best WA designers including Meraki, Zhivago, Empire Rose, One Fell Swoop, C Design and Kirrikin. The only group fashion show currently in Perth.

2025 marks 40 years since the founding of WAAC (formerly WA AIDS Council), and STYLEAID will raise substantial funds for WAAC’s programs, playing an important role in bringing HIV and LGBTQIA’s health into the public spotlight through art, media, and celebration.

WAAC made a significant impact across the community in 2023/24, including:

  • Over 1,000 counselling sessions for people living with HIV and LGBTIQA+ youth in both metropolitan and regional WA
  • 137 peer-led drop-in sessions for LGBTIQA+ young people at the Freedom Centre, creating safe spaces to connect and build community
  • 425 instances of support for people living with HIV facing complex life circumstances like housing insecurity and financial hardship
  • 691 instances of one-on-one peer support for people living with HIV
  • The provision of non-judgmental, safe, and affirming sexual health and gender-affirming care through M Clinic
  • 7,168 brief interventions provided through our Needle and Syringe Exchange ProgramOver 100 workshops, talks, and educational sessions promoting education and inclusion across the community

Retrospective – a history of 20 years of STYLEAID

The first event was held at the Hyatt Perth in 1998, in the ballroom, and included 400 guests who witnessed the first STYLEAID runway showcasing a range of local designers, as well as retailers and well-known Australian designers.
